Distributing plant nutrient solutions

Who are the appropriate authorities or regulatory bodies in Slovakia that should be contacted regarding the labeling and packaging requirements for distributing products, particularly plant nutrient solutions, in the market? Additionally, is there a need for product registration or authorization, and if so, which authority is responsible for overseeing the process in Slovakia?
Answer
EC fertilizers are not registered in Slovakia, you only have a reporting obligation. Pursuant to Section 8a of Act 136/2000 Coll. on fertilizers, you are always obliged within 30 days from the date of production or of import into the territory of the Slovak Republic to notify the inspection institute the type, composition and quantity of this fertilizer.
This report will be served by an electronic application that is not yet operational. At present, EC fertilizers are still reported using a form (attached to the email), which you can send by mail or email to hnojiva@uksup.sk
