Certification of reinforced entrance doors
Question
We manufacture reinforced entrance doors for the private and business sectors, and we currently have Israeli standard approvals/certifications for our product. Now, we are considering expanding our presence by marketing our product in the EU. We would appreciate information on the following points:
1. Could you provide information about the process of obtaining certification in the EU? Additionally, can your organization offer this certification service?
2. If your organization can provide the certification service, could you please provide a price quote for the process?
3. If your organization does not offer this service, could you recommend someone who can assist us with obtaining the necessary certifications in the EU?
4. We would like to know the specific standards that our product should meet in order to obtain CE certification for the EU market.
According to our understanding, the requirements we need to comply with include fire and smoke standards (EN16034) as well as burglary resistance standards (RC). Are there any other relevant standards that we should be aware of?
