Requirements on the print or online distribution of user instructions

I would like to know what the requirements for the print or online distribution of user instructions are in Slovakia. Should they be provided in print or can they be provided online/electronically?
Answer
The requirements for user instructions depend on the product concerned.
As regards technical regulations from the area of New Approach Legislation (e.g. machinery, radio equipment, electromagnetic compatibility, …), the requirements for user instructions are laid down by Act No 56/2018 Coll. on conformity assessment of the product, making available of a determined product on the market, within the obligations of manufacturer, importer or distributor, or by specific technical regulations from the area of conformity assessment listed in the list of technical regulations from the area of conformity assessment according to the Act No 56/2018 Coll and European legislation of the New Approach. In general, user instruction should be attached to the product, unless otherwise provided for in the technical regulation in the field of conformity assessment referred to in the above-mentioned list.
