Decorative wall covering – CE marking

Question

I am writing with regard to CE marking. Our products must respect the EU’s harmonisation legislation NF EN 15102 relating to decorative wall covering. Please, could you tell me if there are specific regulations concerning our products in your country?

The labelling of construction products, systems of assessment, and verification of constancy of performance and conditions under which a construction product can be placed on Slovak market adjust among others the Act on construction products No 133/2013 Coll. as amended. (further referred to as the Act on construction products), the Decree No 162/2013 Coll., establishing a list of groups of construction products and systems for assessing the parameters thereof as amended (further referred to as the Decree). The harmonized sphere of construction products is covered by the Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011 laying down harmonized conditions for the marketing of construction products and repealing Council Directive 89/106/EEC as amended.
According to your description, we have placed the product under the product group No 3201 of Annex No 1 of the Decree – with the system of assessment of parameters IV for the basic purpose. If the product is marked with the CE marking, there are no further requirements for placing the product on the market.
